I'm so sorry, Carolyn Jean. I know how pets become so dear to us and how difficult it is to lose them. Petunia was very beautiful and I'm sure very loved.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I've never had a cat or dog but I can imagine the pain of losing one.
I used to have fish and I would become hysterical when one of them would die. I know that's completely different and no comparison but I'm just saying that death is hard for everyone when it's something or someone they care about.
I hope you feel better and that your grief isn't that hard on you. Time will heal the pain of your loss. My thoughts are with you. Big hugs.
Book #2 of the Disillusionists Trilogy. People change. Big things happen! (Bantam/Spectra)
Book #1 of my UF trilogy, Mind Games, about a hypochondriac heroine who joins a psychological hit squad in a fantastical Midwestern city. (Bantam/Spectra)
I am a RITA-winning author of romantic suspense, urban fantasy, and other tales of love and adventure. I’ve been published by Random House and Samhain, and I presently go the indie route. I work a straight job as a marketing writer, I love to run and read in bed, I’m passionate about helping animals, and I make my home in Minnesota with my husband and two cats.

Oh honey I'm so sorry for you loss.
Sarai,
Thanks so much for stopping by, and for your comments.
Oh CJ. I'm so sorry. *hug*
I'm sorry, I lost one of my fur-buddies in December after he had a brief, but rapid battle with cancer, so I know how difficult it is.
Sorry for your loss. Pets become such a part of our lives.
Thanks so much for stopping by you all, it really means a lot.
Big hugs.
*hugs*
I'm so sorry for your loss, Carolyn. But Petunia was a beautiful cat.
My sympathies.
My cat Sooty died last week, he was 16. Can't get used to him not being here.
Thanks everybody SO much for stopping by on this.
I wasn't sure about putting a thing up, but all your kindness has really made me feel better.
