News & question:
The Cynthia Eden Contest runs until midnight TONIGHT! Click to go to her site. The prizes are fabulous. I'm totally going to get her first two books, because I'm sucker for detective paranormals like this.
Smugglivus countdown is here! The Book Smugglers are hosting an incredible blow-out month of interviews, guest posts and giveaways. Today is Meredith Duran talking about her favorite books of 2008, books she's looking forward to, and what we can expect from her this year. Yesterday was Maria V. Snyder, and tomorrow is Loretta Chase! Did these girls make a deal with Teqon?
Antholopalooza is here & QUESTION: Nicola is hosting a month-long focus on anthologies. Like me, she is not much of an anthology reader. Anyway, she has invited me be a guest review. (There are also slots to sign up as a guest. Go for it!) Anyway, I need suggestions! What anthology should I check out? Oh, and I now have an ereader, so I'm not limited to print.

LA: It's coming! I hope to have the cover to show soon.
Ana: GASP!
How much will I be peeing my pants this time?
KB: Maybe you can knit a diaper, if you have any "yarn" left.
Working on that second pair of hair boxers for you.
Yay! I will wear them on special occasions.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for anthologies.
Cant wait for TIGBFB! I started reading your blog during TUTGB madness. :-)
Renee: Thanks for the suggestions! Wow, great. And some fine authors, too. I really appreciate it.
To tell the truth, the antho that I've enjoyed the most so far is a (an?) historical one, anchored by Julia Quinn: The Further Observations of Lady Whistledown.
I have a bunch of paranormals on the list -- you can read my upcoming reviews to see if any of them appeal ;)
Have you read "What happens in Vegas" ? a nice selection of erotic romances with semblances of plot to boot.
Aww... poor Julian. Just goes to show that timing is everything. I love The Duke of Shadows.
I have a love hate relationship with anthologies myself. I always buy them anyway, but oftentimes only read one of the stories--there's usually ONE contributing author that inspired me to buy the book in the first place.
I happened to really enjoy the "What Happens In Vegas" anthology also, despite it's very mixed reviews.
That should be its not it's. :P
Anytime, CJ. Just keep those great cartoons coming!
I wonder, will she have an anti-martyr complex this time? When he comes, will he whimper his pleasure? Will her catchphrase be 'Oh what's the use - all he ever does is listen to me. If he could just give me some space, already!'
Still grinning from previous installment *g*
