Please Stand By

Have you ever looked at your blog and been like, OMG! Has it been THAT long since I've posted?

Needless to say, things have gotten a bit crazy around here: day job deadlines, novels that won't write themselves and where the heck is that author website I'm lovingly creating? And is that a laundry basket hidden under the pile of clothes? Plants: don't droop. I swear I will water you today.

Just to let you know...I'm still here. In spirit. And blogging will start back up this coming week. Because I have high hopes that I catch up with everything this weekend. I have a grand dream that everything urgent will be crossed off my list.

Happy Saturday, everyone! Do you have special weekend dreams that you hope will come true?

Hey CJ:

Nice to see your post. I'm right there with you. Work has me totally snowed under too.

I hope things settle down for you soon.

I'm looking forward to seeing your new website when you get it up and running!!

LOL. It's just you're so worn out by how busy you were answering the comments to our posts. Especially those by that hard core commenter, Anonymous.

Hope to see you posting again, soon!

I have said to several people this week, 'It's that time of year,' cheesy, but true!!!

I'm hoping the loft will clean itself, that all the dust and cobwebs will magically disappear, and that the ms I just received in my inbox will edit itself.

Not holding my breath though. *sigh*

I had the OMG moment today. I slack off so much on my blog, which is especially embarrassing when I realize how many almost-finished posts I have saved as drafts. I think there are 25 right now. Some have been sitting there for 5 months now.

Before this weekend is over, I hope my workday continues to go well (I am currently working, providing a warm, mostly-conscious body at the reference desk), I want to actually write more of my NaNoWriMo novel, and I want to finish making another batch of rolls.

(((CJ)))

I feel completely overwhelmed at the moment with what I have to do. I have so many pieces of paper with things to do on them...I can't even find the time to write a coherent 'to-do' list! The thing most driving me up the wall is Xmas cards...I have to sort out two family members' cards before I can start mine and the final date for airmail post to Europe and North America is in 7 days! *deep breathe*

Good luck with everything CJ. I try to intersperse little jobs with the big ones so I feel like I'm getting somewhere...

Good luck with catching up on everything. I often wonder why I don't post on my blog more. Really trying to be better about it now.

I need to be doing stuff around my house, instead I'm on the internet(posted the sprout for your book on my blog) and watching stuff on my dvr.
